I thank the President for his continued commitment to ensuring the federal bench reflects the diversity of our country, and I urge the Senate to move quickly on Chief Judge Tydingco-Gatewood’s confirmation.”

Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo (GU), CAPAC Vice Chair:

“Throughout her judicial career, Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood has displayed the highest levels of integrity and fidelity to the rule of law. She has been a firm jurist who has served our community with professionalism and an understanding of how her decisions would impact the everyday lives of Guam’s residents. As the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court of Guam, Frances has worked to make the court more efficient, accessible, and responsive to the needs of our community.
