Washington, D.C. — Today, the Senate confirmed Todd Kim as Assistant Attorney General of Environment and Natural Resources at the U.S. Department of Justice. Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) Chair Rep. Judy Chu issued the following statement:

“I was very happy to see Todd Kim’s confirmation as the Assistant Attorney General of the Environment and Natural Resources Division at the Department of Justice. Todd’s years of experience in litigation and environmental policy, including at the Department of Energy and the Department of Justice, make him the ideal person for this role. As the first AAPI to be confirmed to this position in half a century, Todd is a proud example to so many others who never saw themselves in government before. I’d like to thank President Biden for his continued commitment to creating a federal government that reflects the full diversity of our nation.”
