Jan 25, 2012

WASHINGTON, DC—Following President Obama’s State of the Union address, Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-32), Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) released the following statement:

“As Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), I commend President Obama on his continued efforts to improve the lives of all Americans – not just the privileged elite.  The notion that everyone deserves a fair shot if they’re willing to do their fair share is a core American value and one that resonates strongly within the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. CAPAC appreciates the fact that we have a true partner in President Obama, and we look forward to working with the White House to create an American economy that’s first in the world and built to last.”
