CAPAC Chairwoman Rep. Judy Chu issues statement on 40th Anniversary of CBC

(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Rep. Judy Chu (CA-32), Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), today issued the following statement celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC).

“For 40 years, the Congressional Black Caucus has served the nation and their community – and our country is no doubt better because of their work. As Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, it is an honor to work closely with the CBC through our partnership in the Tri-Caucus to push for equal rights, social justice, and increased opportunity.

“I congratulate the CBC on a tremendous 40 years of progress, and I look forward to working closely together as we continue that progress in the decades to come.”
