CAPAC Members Celebrate Holi

Washington, D.C. – Today, Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) released the following statements to celebrate Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors:

Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-27), CAPAC Chair:

“I’m elated to join my fellow CAPAC colleagues in wishing all those celebrating in my district and around the world a very happy Holi! The festival of colors is a vibrant commemoration of the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. As we celebrate this joyous holiday, let us recommit ourselves to promoting greater peace, love, and tolerance in our world.”

Congresswoman Grace Meng (NY-06), CAPAC First Vice Chair:

“I am pleased to wish a very happy Holi to everybody who observes the holiday. Known as the festival of colors, Holi is a special and joyous occasion in which friends and family commemorate the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.
