CAPAC Leadership

Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-27), CAPAC Chair:

“On behalf of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, I would like to wish a Happy Holi to everyone in the United States and around the world who is celebrating the Festival of Colors! As we welcome the arrival of Spring and celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, let us also celebrate the rich diversity of our nation that makes our country great. May this season bring joy and prosperity to all.”

Congresswoman Grace Meng (NY-06), CAPAC First Vice Chair:

“Happy Holi to all who celebrate. Known as the Festival of Colors, Holi is a special and joyous occasion in which friends and family commemorate the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. I send my warmest wishes for a prosperous and colorful celebration here in New York and around the world.”

Congressman Ted Lieu (CA-33), CAPAC Whip:

“I wish a joyous and prosperous Holi to all who celebrate. While the Hindu festival of colors may look different this year as families, friends, and communities social distance, the holiday’s spirit offers enduring lessons: that good triumphs over evil, that tolerance breeds peace, and that even after dark winters, spring arrives with hope and light.”
