March 24, 2023

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, the Chairs of the Congressional Tri-Caucus joined José Díaz-Balart Reports on MSNBC for their first joint interview in the 118th Congress.

The Congressional Tri-Caucus was formed in 2001 and is composed of:  the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), chaired by Rep. Each Chair is elected by the Caucus to serve for a two-year term.

Over 33 minutes, the Chairs discussed with Díaz-Balart the Tri-Caucus’s efforts to improve public safety, voting rights, and health care in communities of color, support minority-owned small businesses, and establish a humane immigration system. As the interview concludes, the Chairs define the American Dream as one of opportunity, possibility, and hope.
